Much of the story behind a piece of clothing is left unknown to most of us. It didn't start at the Zara store on 5th street, nor will it end at a Goodwill or a dumpster. This project aims to uncover some of the stories in fast fashion that are beyond retailing. While "sustainable fashion" has become a buzzphrase, such vocabulary is intentionally left out of the publication to recognize the nuances of this incredibly complex topic. One seemingly sustainable action could lead to negative impacts in another aspect. I could only provide snapshots within the lifecycle of clothings, trying to capture some of the ethical, environmental and social issues that are all part of their story, our story.
