For the entire semester of Spring 2019, I had to take the train from Claremont to downtown LA and back at least twice a week. The train ride is an hour one-way, which led to a lot of time of staring out of the window and letting my mind wonder. I gained at least two things by the end of that semester: 1. I could recite the station names on the San Bernardino line from either direction, and 2. I had pages of random thoughts noted down in my phone.
This publication project is an attempt to document my train taking experience.
The cut out map shows part of the San Bernardino Metrolink line. Each of the 20 copies contain a different segment of the train map.

"The train is not a real place; the place I'm in is my own thoughts."
